When You Can’t Doorsplore #ThursdayDoors

Sometimes you just can’t get out. Or you don’t go anywhere with cool doors. What can you do, if you still want to participate in Norm Frampton’s Thursday Doors link-up? Well, OF COURSE, you can still go to his page, look at his wonderful photographs, click on the blue frog link to find more wonderful photographs of doors from around the world. But what else?

If you’re me, you take pictures in and around your house. Like these.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: What does (or would) your main character for amusement, if confined to the house and grounds?

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

That retaining wall is downright fetching!
    Great wheelbarrows šŸ™‚
THIS character would love to be confined to the house and grounds! Please?!? LOL Reading, writing, family time, gardening, cooking, baking, grass and tree watchin, studying the spider’s webs, word games, shooting hoops. Maybe one day a week I could venture out for a doorscursion and everything else would just come to me?!? I’m only saying that because I have to get out too much this week, which as you know is every bit as awful as not getting out enough.
Hopefully your mommer starts feelin better and you can get to a good door and maybe a hot meal you didn’t have to make yourself. Still well-wishing, Marian. <3

He’s got two retaining walls, one on either side of the garage door wall. I think they’re gorgeous, and I like them better, the more stuff grows on them.

Yeah, I’m a home-body, for the most part. So is Charlie, so that works out well.

Mom is OVER the C.Diff! Still recovering from the effects of the antibiotics, but at least she isn’t in danger of giving the stuff back to herself or to somebody else!

A thimble, a battleship, a car, a wheelbarrow, a top hat, a Scottie dog, a shoe, and an iron walk into a bar…

Before they could order, the FTC closed the bar for being a monopoly.

Sorry, I couldn’t resist. The garage door is the favoritest door I have. It leads to my workshop. I’m with Joey, I really like the retaining wall.
