Out and About in LaGrange #ThursdayDoors

Went to the Annual Kentuckiana Independent Authors Fair in LaGrange, Kentucky. It rained all the way, until it started to snow. Luckily, #4 Daughter, the amazing Sara Marian, was driving, or I’d still be parked at the side of the road, weeping hysterically.

ANYWAY, it stopped precipitating long enough for me to take a little doorscursion, and this is what I found. Click on any picture in the gallery to begin the slideshow.

Thursday Doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his photographs, follow his instructions, and enter a world of doors.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

Maybe if I do the doorscursions drunk, it’ll cancel out my natural off-kilterness. Worth a try, right? 😉

Oh, excellent finds, Marian. Of course I love all little library doors, but the rest are just wonderful.

I’m so happy I latched onto Thursday Doors! (Latched … doors … See what I did there? I crack me up.) ANYWAY, I’m happy, because it encourages me to look closely at something I would otherwise take for granted and find excitement and joy in it. That’s a piece of childhood we would all do well to preserve and cherish in our adult lives.

If a little late spring Kentucky snow makes you weep, do make sure you don’t visit my hood between December and March or you may require prescribed chemical assistance to recover 😉
Love the green door and especially the pretty color of that blooming tree in front of it.
    A successful doorscursion indeed 🙂

It only makes me weep if I’m driving in it. When I visit your hood, maybe you can drive? 😉
