I got out and about and took some pictures of places that have changed since the last time I snapped them.
This used to be Arlston’s bookstore, but now it’s the new home of the Harrison Count Arts, formerly the Artisan Center:
Across the street, where Charlie and my favorite sandwich shop was, is High Cotton Stitchery, by appointment only, with a strawberry-shaped pincushion on the door.
Nice mailbox, dude!
Oh, and what’s that in the window? I think the sign next to the cat is an ad for a French tailor.
Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

March 3, 2023 at 10:12amThe doors don’t have to be nice. Some blogs specialize in doors that have seen better days.

March 2, 2023 at 8:34amClearly the cat is the best thing in all these photos, Marian. I like the mailbox and the pin cushion…yes MiMi, but not as much as the cat. And, you’re right Tipper, that cat isn’t as handsome as you are. No, I didn’t forget you Chickie – you’re much prettier. Sigh, of course, Adi, you are much better looking. Phew. Am I done?
Nice doors today!
