Oh…OH! That looks more than nasty. Maybe get an antibiotic just to be on the safe side? Commiserations. I bathed a cat once. Actually it took 2 of us and we both ended up with lacerations from finger tips to elbows. I don’t mess with cats any more. 🙁

  It was just four punctures, but they were bleeding and company was coming. I slopped rubbing alcohol on them and smeared on some antiseptic cream. Ah, I’ve given many a cat a bath. There was just one I never tried to tackle twice, and that was Sara’s black cat, Al (Alexander Russianpants) I could only bathe him if Sara held him.

Maybe have Sara clean the long-haired cat? 🙂 or we could develop some sort of teflon grooming gloves.
