Sunday Snapshot: Good Idea/Bad Idea

#SundaySnapshot

I had a sweet potato that I forgot in the pantry and it sprouted. So I cut the sprouted end off and stuck it into a pot that had cracked open over the winter.

Unbeknownst to me, at least one cracked piece was buried in the dirt, so I cut myself in the process.

The sweet potato has been watered with the blood of this farmer.

It seems to have done it good.

You need to re-watch The Thing (From Another World). Vegetables dining on blood is a story that doesn’t end well.

That looks like a job for duck tape. Or perhaps a new pot. In either case wear gloves ! Ple-az ! Take care of those hands.

I really need to put one of Charlie’s many pairs of working gloves by the back door and wear them when I tend my pots (that’s POTS, not POT) and when I hunt mushrooms.
