About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

I like that. When I worked on the riverboats in Pittsburgh, I often worked the Captain’s Dinner Cruise. I worked for the caterer and I brought all the food to the boat. It was dinner and dancing. Every night, as we approached the dock, the band would play the Hokey Pokey, and that was my signal to get all my stuff out on the deck so I could load my van.

Heh! Did you sing along with it? “I put the full trays on, I take the empty trays out….”

I actually did some nights. “I take the coffer pots out, I set the coffee pots down. The steam trays are waiting so I turn myself around.”
