Caturday: Poor Pitiful Tipper

Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what?

I had a TERRIBLE ambenture! My worstest one yet!

I sneaked out behind Momma’s back, and she didn’t know I was gone until the night! She called and called, but I wouldn’t come. Momma saw some of my fluff onna ground by the porch, and she was scared. She asked #1 Hooman Sister if she’d seen me, and she said no, but she thought she heard a cat fight from my direction. And Momma called all night, but I didn’t come

The next day, #4 Hooman Sister came to look for me unner the porch, and there I was, all up against the house. Momma got some food and I came up to get it, but I got scared that if I came out, Boone would catch me again, so I went back. Yeah, that’s what happened. It was that bad Boone who comes up here and makes faces at me through the window.

Then #4 Hooman Sister AlmostMister came, and one of them stomped onna porch to scare me out and one of them looked with the flashlight and sweet-talked me. I didn’t come to them, though; I ran around to the front of the house when they weren’t looking. When the left, AlmostMister shone the flashlight under the little bay window, and there I was, but I wouldn’t come out. So #4 Hooman Sister reached under and got me, and I was so relieved!!! She gave me to Momma and I purred and purred.

I slept all night and all day and all night right here beside Momma’s head and put my foots on her when I had a bad dream that I was still outside.

This is where Boone tagged me. Momma calls it my Boone-boo.

And here is my niece Freyja, ruling the roost at #4 Hooman Sister’s and #4 Hooman Sister AlmostMister’s house.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Did you ever go out and get tagged by an enemy?

Oh my goodness, Tipper!! I am so glad you weren’t hurt worse or frozen. I hope you stay inside from now on.

We were so scared! I saw a little of his fluff on the ground, and I didn’t know if he had been carried off by an eagle or what. We did have a golden eagle in the yard once. And it was getting below freezing that second night, so I was desperate. The kids worked for over an hour to get him. He doesn’t LIKE it outside — I don’t know why he insists he wants to be there.

Oh Tipper, I’m so sorry you had such a miserable time, and I know your Mum had a terrible time too, worrying about you. Some adventures really aren’t worth having. -huge hugs- I’m so glad you’re back home, safe and almost sound.

He’s already starting each day by begging to be let out. Not the brightest crayon in the box.
