HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!
Adi took over the bed last night! I went in to go to bed at Mommy’s feet, and Adi was right next to her. I did NOT want to be in bed with Adi, especially if she was there first, so I slept somewhere else.
The next morning, Mommy picked me up and carried me around and smooched me and said she missed me. Then we snuggled in Poppy’s bed for a while, and I showed her my most secret hidey hole. Adi tried to come in, but I wouldn’t let her. I let Tipper come in and sit in the window, but Adi has to stay out!
Mommy said, “NO GURLS ALLOUD, eh?” which doesn’t make any sense, because I’m a girl.
Then I helped Mommy in the office, and she said she doesn’t know how she’d ever get anything done without me.
So ha, Adi. Ha!

December 3, 2025 at 7:59amThe new addition is still imbizible. But, as my mother used to say, I know a trick worth two of that one. I’ve ordered two cat cams (cheap on eBay): one for the hall, so I know where she comes from when she goes to eat; and one for the play room, so I can watch her play. 🙂

But it sounds like you got some extra special attention from Mommy the next morning, which is the best revenge. Showing her your most secret hidey hole is a huge honor.

November 30, 2025 at 10:59amI didn’t even know there was a space where she went. If I hadn’t seen her go there, I would never have known. Naturally, it was in Charlie’s room. She and Charlie were inseparable. I feel very honored that she’s accepted me as a poor substitute.
