Hewwo. Um, I’m Adi, okay?
EverMom went away last weekend, and we were all SO SAD!

When she came home, she was hurted ’cause she fell while she was gone. She wouldn’t have fell while she was gone if she didn’t be gone. But I’m sad that she got hurted.
When she’s here, she sits onna chair and we take turns sitting on her. When I sit on her, she brushes me and clips off my tangles, an I’m always smooth now an I smell like coconuts.

An when she’s here, she opens the back door for us for a little bit inna morning before it gets too hot so we can store up sniffs for the rest of the day.

EverMom says it’ll get cool enough at night for us to have the night catio open, but not yet. It’s still too hot now. Yuck!
A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you love the hot or hate the hot?

July 20, 2026 at 12:03pmImproving. I went to another convention this weekend, and between resting at the table (selling books) and walking to and fro, improvement was inevitable.

July 20, 2026 at 12:01pmThanks, Leslea! Oh, what I would have given for a flying birdbath to help me up off the floor.

July 18, 2026 at 1:46pmAre you still “hurted” mom?
Hoshi is happy that the smoke went away today and she can go outside on the patio. Gibbs just says “whatever.”

July 20, 2026 at 12:00pmWhat smoke did you have? I’m behind on my blog visits. 🙁 Yeah, I’m still a little hurted. My knee is still bruised and my lip is still a little swollen, but my toes really still feel the hit. They must have flapped down HARD. I never would have expected. Oh, well, better every day, so …

July 18, 2026 at 8:08amOur cats used to love the hot. They would cry and pace and paw at the door to be let onto the screen porch Then they’d sit in the window and watch the world. I hope you’re helping evermom to get better.

July 20, 2026 at 11:58amSunlight patches are prime real estate. The cats are always good for what ails me. I was away again this weekend, and I really felt the lack of fur-and-purr therapy.
