Poisoned Free Introverted Faerie Swag

Happy Friday!

There are two Poisony Pen Presses: Poisoned Pen Press, which publishes mysteries, and has this fantastic post about making book trailers, and Poison Pen Press, which publishes books on Medieval and Renaissance stuff — also old Star Trek:TOS fanzines. I highly recommend each of them.

Here’s a direct link to one of the sources for royalty-free stock video recommended by the -ed Poisony Pen Press above. It’s Pond5, for some reason.

If you love books so much that books alone aren’t enough for you, you can’t do better than to visit The Book Swag Shop on Etsy. Nifty book swag, affordably priced. No, I don’t get a kickback. I wish!

Are you introverted and need to ‘splain yourself to somebody? Do you know an introvert and wish you understood them? This poster lays it all out for you. You’re welcome.

Finally — and I’ll admit it’s a trifle twee — take a gander at Faerie Magazine’s blog. The print magazine is a bit pricey, although it’s flat gorgeous and fun to share. The blog also has nifty gifties and unique jewelry I enjoy perusing.

That’s it for this week. Enjoy!

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Write about an introvert and an extrovert.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

    Thanks for the recommends.
I think I’d better shot off a salute to Devra.
She usually carries the whole series of Julian Kestrel books, you know. That’s My recommend for the day.

You could start with A DEAD GUY AT THE SUMMERHOUSE by … let me see now … Oh, yeah — me! lol

If you like spy thrillers, my mom recommends John le Carre.

For psychological suspense, I don’t think you can do better than Ruth Rendell or Josephine Tey or Charlotte Armstrong.
