I like pasta fazool. Any kinda pasta fazool. In case you don’t know what that is, it’s American for pasta e fagioli, or pasta and beans. Sometimes I make it soupy, sometimes I make it not-soupy. This was not soupy.
While I boiled veggie pasta, I heated olive oil and cooked onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Also Italian seasoning.
I added that to the drained pasta and a can of white beans.

March 15, 2017 at 12:23pmLooks good! My go-to dish is mostaccioli. It’s cheap, it’s easy, and even Moo will eat her weight in it. Although, Moo doesn’t call it mostaccioli, she calls it “That stuff I ate half a pan of that one time? With the cheese?”

March 15, 2017 at 3:36pmThat looks and sounds really good! I’m saving this one to try.
My go-to dish is just spaghetti with a meat sauce. I usually doctor up my favorite jar sauce add browned ground round, or crumble up meatloaf into and slow cook it in the crock pot. I’m a lazy cook these days.

March 16, 2017 at 10:42amWhat do you not like about pasta fazool? The beans? What if it HAD been thinly sliced chicken breast?

March 16, 2017 at 1:17pm@Marian Allen – Yeah, the beans. I’m not a big fan of beans. I eat them in chili, but I wish they weren’t there. I don’t like the mushy consistency of beans in general. It’s like eating paste. I call chickpeas “Paste-pods”

March 16, 2017 at 3:08pmCharlie doesn’t like chickpeas, either. Boo hoo for me! He likes other kinds of beans, though, so go figure. “Paste-pods” — atsa funny. š
