Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what?
Momma went away two weekends in a row. Chickie and I thing that’s too much. Momma says she agrees. She says she’s too pooped to pop, whatever that means.
Chickie: It means a hooman who takes as many naps as a cat.
Well, she’s been doing that, so I guess you’re right.
We were napping together the other day. Well, she was resting, and I was keeping watch.
#4 Hooman Sister came to visit, and she and Momma got all excited. Now they understand why I run around, looking out the windows.
Momma went out on the porch, and took this picture.
Then she squealed because she was so happy, and the deer walked away.
Later that night, Chickie was bad, and I helped tell her better.
Chickie loves plastic. Momma is always telling her, “No plastic for Chickies. Plastic is bad for kitties.” But Chickie got some out of the trash and was carrying it around, licking it. So I told her no until Momma came and took the plastic away.
Momma has been petting us and loving on us even more than she usually does since she got back. She even loves on naughty Chickie. But I’m her best boy.

July 17, 2021 at 10:36amWe don’t see the antlered ones very often. It’s usually the does and fawns. And we did get a glimpse of a couple of the foxes the other day, so they’re still somewhere around.

July 18, 2021 at 9:24amI think it’s a family. We usually just see the doe and some fawns, very seldom a buck. We felt very honored to see the whole family!

July 18, 2021 at 8:56pmVery special. I envy you. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a live deer. Of course they’re not native to Australia, but I think there are some ‘farms’ somewhere. Much prefer the idea of them in the wild. 🙂
