What Chickie Is Like #1LinerWednesday

Today is Chickie’s Gotcha Day. For those who don’t visit this blog on Caturday, Chickie is my late husband’s cat. She’s still a cat, and she accepts me as second best, but she’s still Charlie’s cat. He got her as soon as #1 Daughter, who tamed Chickie’s mother, said it was okay. That was three years ago today.

She was always into everything.

And Charlie always said he felt sorry for her. He said:

She wants to be more than a cat.

Happy Gotcha Day, Chickie!

This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s weekly blog hop, One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner or just like them, follow the link.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: What do you think Chickie would do if she could walk upright and had opposable thumbs? She can already pick up pieces of gravel and toss them into the air.

Happy Gotcha Day Chickie. Your Poppa would be proud of you. Big snuggles from Golli, Harry and Mogi [the dog]. Oh and me. 🙂
