So Simple. So Good. NO, NOT ME, #Vegan #Food

So I scored some pretty little green beans at the farmers market, and this happened.

I cut up some potatoes in little pieces — what Charlie and his mother called “chipping” — and fried them for maybe five minutes in vegan margarine, then covered them and turned down the heat and steamed them for about fifteen minutes, then uncovered them and turned the heat up and threw in the green beans and cooked all that until they browned.

I wish I had had more green beans, but I had already eated them. Nom nom nom.

The potatoes look yummy. I might give that method a try myself. It’s almost like braising meat but without the meat. 😀
