#FoodTuesday #writingprompt
I’ve posted this technique before, but it bears repeating. How to have the perfect steak:
- Have my #4 Daughter cook it for you.
- Have my #4 Daughter’s former partner cook it for you (He taught us how.).
- Buy some steak, preferably from a farmers’ market. Douse it with Dale’s Seasoning and whatever herbs/spices you like. *IMPORTANT*–> massage it <–*IMPORTANT* It will turn into a piece of sheer fabric. Squish it back together. Put in on a rack on a shallow pan. Broil it, oven door slightly open, on the top rack for maybe four minutes per side. Broil it longer if the steak is thick or you like it more well done. Let it rest for five or ten minutes before you cut it.

O. M. G. You won’t believe how tender, juicy, and delicious this is! I fall off the turnip wagon every time #4 makes steak. I guess it would work on the grill, too.

July 3, 2025 at 4:44pmI think I’d go with option #1. That’s the best preparation method I know.

July 2, 2025 at 1:37pmI really recommend the method. Massaging any cut of any meat makes it soooo tender.
